Ted Reilly
Ted Reilly is the Founder and Executive Director of Chicago Media Angels (CMA), an entertainment finance and production company he launched in 2015. With a background in finance—including prior experience at Goldman Sachs and a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame—Ted bridges sophisticated capital with compelling storytelling. He also founded SRH Partners to help creative talent organize and scale.
At CMA, Ted has executive-produced multiple narrative features that have secured festival premieres and commercial distribution. Key credits include BRB (Slamdance), Adult Children (Bentonville Special Jury Award, Galway Best International Film, Chicago International), All Happy Families (Freestyle Digital Media North American acquisition), and The Year Between (Tribeca), among others that have reached audiences through theatrical, streaming, and VOD platforms.
CMA operates three integrated arms:
- Executive Production — Hands-on EP services.
- Angel Investor Group — Connects accredited investors with curated film opportunities.
- CMA Secure Capital — A structured fund delivering collateralized, tax-incentive-backed financing with a track record of attractive returns.
Ted’s work emphasizes both artistic excellence and strong financial discipline—structuring efficient capital markets for independent storytellers while delivering risk-adjusted returns for investors. He is based in the Chicago area.
